OUR LIFETIME GUARANTEE

Our mission is to provide quality garments that are historically-correct or sewn to customer-specifications, but machine-sewn and meant to withstand the rigors of modern laundering.

We guarantee the craftsmanship of our garments for a lifetime*. If for any reason the seams or construction of your garment fails with normal use, just return it to us, and we will fix or replace it, no questions asked! If the fabric frays through common wear-points, you tear or damage the garment crawling around on a battle-field, or want an authentic "lived in" look, we will be happy to apply a hand-sewn patch or fix for that extra bit of historical realism. Where else can you purchase a tailor along with your clothes?

*Lifetime guarantee only applies to garments constructed by Colonial Clothiers LLC and covers seam construction, broken buttons, and normal wear. Fabric thinning, tearing, or significant damage can only be patched or repaired. Best efforts will be used to match fabrics, buttons, and notions used in the construction of the original garment. Total replacement only applies to unusual cases as seen fit by Colonial Clothiers LLC. Shipping costs will be handled by the customer unless alternate arrangements are made.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Custom and Made-to-measure

We do our best to make your garments to the specifications and measurements you provide, however this is a custom made-to-measure service, and not a full tailoring service or off-the-rack item. Many people have different ideals and fit expectations, and unless specified, we can only estimate your preference.  Each order requires time and materials for us to make, and to keep our prices low, we are working at cost with little or no pay for labor, so unlike a big-box store, we do not feel it is fair for us to invest up to 40 hours of our time per garment without the guarantee of a sale.  With this in mind, we will offer a "do over", exchange, store credit, or alterations at our discretion, but no refunds will be given on an already constructed garment.

Off-the-Rack Inventory

If you purchased a ready-made off-the-rack item and are not satisfied, please return it unused within 30 days for an exchange, store-credit towards a custom made-to-measure garment, or a refund (minus a 15% restocking fee).
